Time for our daily OPPO field trip to do what we always do, look at cars :]
On Thursday, we took the old rear engine, 4 rotary diesel, carbon fiber OPPO bus out to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in Tennessee (Murica). Awesome town but the thing found were very well hidden. KnowsAboutCars quickly found our rice of the day and a taxi livery Lumina. Lumpy44 found a sweet Miata in front of a sweet house along with another with teeth. RazoE pointed out a sweet wagon, panel car, and a Cozy coupe in need of an LS3 swap. JawsX2 found a possible rust free 240....also in need of an LS3 swap in my book and some awesome German jalopness:]. BJ found a giant ship on land lol. Arch Duke found a clean older Z. Luc A. was looking around but decided to drive to rotary brown bus that day :] I couldn't comment directly that day, but RaimbowDash came through amazing with a Fox, someone whou thought our OPPO bus was number 1, and clean Genesis along with many awesome things. Also, ilike_cougars was on fire with finds like a confirmed 69 Mustang coupe, twin Volvo's, a sweet Nova, and a sweet old Ford truck. CarCrasher88's eye was on target as well with many finds including a Mazda MX-3, ram daytona, and many a Volvo's. Thanks to all who participated. Very much appreciated always.

a very beautiful town with MANY HATCHBACKS. But still very rad.
Many awesome cars in this town, but what stood out to me is just how good of shape this e36 is. I mean, it looks like in new condition

I saw an ultra exotic PT:
Surprisingly clean Fiat 500:
and finally, a Miata.
I couldn't find any Italian sports cars, very disappointing. I ignored most alfas I saw, since they're commonplace.

I'm not completely sure what is proper term for them in English but in Finland they are called 'moped cars' and driven by 15-17 year olds. Basically they are unsafe overpriced hunks of plastic powered by around 0.5 liter two cylinder diesel engines. The worst thing is that they can cost over 10000 euros when new which is absurd. I think that the model pictured is by Chatenet.

These things probably are overpriced because they can be. In France they are mainly bought by unlicensed elderly people who need some wheels to get around town. In Finland these are mainly bought by teenagers who can't yet drive a car and don't want a moped.

Yeah too many, special to us maybe but I suspect not so there. You should try some part of California next. I remember going to SF and doing a road trip from there, saw some pretty cool cars just driving down some of the back roads towards Yosemite.
